In 1906, initiated by Archbishop Anthony Khrapovitskiy, the construction of the Holy Trinity Cathedral began by architect A. Shchusev in the ancient Russian manner. This Cathedral is a visible sermon of the Orthodoxy in Western land. It was a tribute to the memory of the former church, built by Feodor and Eva Domashevski, but wrecked during the construction of the Dormition Cathedral.

For a long time the Holy Trinity Church was placed in the outhouse of the community building, where a printing house used to be. The Present Holy Trinity Cathedral with its imposing dome, gallery and passages is a revival of native antiquity; a return to the ancient times for the entire centuries backward; to those blessed days, when our Rus was truly the Holy land; when from tsar’s palace to peasant’s house it lived like a big monastery in accordance with statute of the Orthodox Church, religiously keeping the covenants of the Holy Fathers. The Slav’s soul is expression in it, the perception of the earthly and the heavenly beauty. The Cathedral was laid in 1899, but not until1906 its construction was resumed and in only five years on a flat and spacious piece of land there was erected a mighty cathedral. The Holy Gates is expressed in a mosaic icon of the Holy Savior’s image with Russian Princes bowed down in front of Him. The western entrance of the cathedral is decorated with a mosaic icon of the Pochayiv Icon of the Mother of God. Angels are levitating around the icon and all the saints of the Volyn land sacredly standing by. The New Testament Trinity with Calvary in the center is painted on the northern side of the cathedral. The walls of the cathedral are heavy and solid with few decorations – the mysterious ornament, bricked on the level of galleries.

The icons on iconostasis are painted in a strict ancient Russian style by Chirikov. A church-chandelier was presented by the tsar Nikolay II. The cathedral was painted by an artist deacon Damaskin Malyuta, but because of World War I, he could not finish his work, except the fore church, altar, partially southern and western sides.
It was finished finally in the seventies by the local iconographers according to sketches of the artists Shcherbakov and Florov.
Walls are painted with whole-length images of saint bishops, saint martyrs, venerables, and iconographic scenes. The back wall depicts the Day of the Judgment: the heaven of heavens on the right to the Lord and the eternal hellfire on the left. Leaving the church each prayer unwittingly looks up at this painting causing contemplation.
The icon of the Savior and the Theotokos set in ancient silver ornaments at the side walls of the iconostasis is a connecting thread with the ancient Trinity Cathedral, constructed by Domashevski and consecrated by St. Job. Painting of the church, twilight caused by small windows as well as a pathetic monastic divine service – everything here adjusts a person to a soulful peace, to a prayer, a spiritual conversation with the Creator.
